The Swiss luxury watch brand has conquered the seas with the opening of a series of seven new boutiques in the Mediterranean, attracting customers with exciting offers and limited-edition collections of its Classic Fusion Chronograph. Each of the new branches will have exclusive designs, each limited in quality.
If you’re visiting every Hublot boutique opening on the Mediterranean, you will have to include Spain, Turkey, Greece, France, Monaco, and southern Italy in your itinerary. Each of these locations will display boutique-exclusive Hublot Classic Fusion pieces from the Mare Nostrum Series—the Roman name for the Mediterranean Sea.
Hublot Capri - Italy
At the heart of the Tyrrhenian Sea is the famous island of Capri, known for its breathtaking landscapes, palaces, and yachts. Today, visitors can also look forward to visiting the Hublot boutique on the island where they can purchase the 30-piece limited edition Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Capri. It sports a titanium case fitted with an azure-colored ceramic bezel. Its color is reminiscent of the skies above the Bay of Naples. Finishing the look is a color-matching, striated rubber strap, and chronograph counters.
Hublot Mykonos - Greece
Mykonos is an island frequented by visitors who are in search of a cosmopolitan atmosphere and exciting nightlife. As Hublot opened its new Mykonos boutique, it introduced a 2021 version of its iconic Classic Fusion Chronograph with dark blue and warm rose gold accents. It draws inspiration from the sunset where you can enjoy days on the famous Greek island. It also features a bladed rotor on the dial—a homage to the Kato Myli, the island’s iconic windmills.
Hublot Bodrum - Turkey
Hublot’s new boutique in Turkey is located in the southern seaside resort of Bodrum—a city built with the stone from the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It offers an uninterrupted view of the Aegean Sea, whose striking azure blue colors inspired the Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Bodrum. It features an azure blue dial housed in a 45mm titanium case, with white chronograph counters and strap stitching. It is powered by the Calibre HUB1143 movement and is limited to just 25 pieces.
Hublot Ibiza - Spain
Ibiza is no longer just a party island, but also home to a brand new Hublot boutique that features an exclusively designed Classic Fusion Chronograph. This reference uses a self-winding chronograph movement inside a 45mm blue ceramic case. However, the highlight of this watch is arguably its dial that displays the Flower Power symbol—the island’s emblem.
In addition to these boutiques, Hublot also opened new locations in Saint-Tropez and Monaco. While there are no new limited and exclusive models here, a cruise of the Mediterranean Sea wouldn’t be complete without a visit to these southern places.
The Most Expensive Watch From the Mare Nostrum Series
The colors and designs of these chronograph watches pick up on the color of the sandy beaches, seaside resorts, and blue skies. They are all presented in 45mm diameter cases and the in-house-manufactured HUB1143 chronograph movement that packs a generous 42-hour power reserve.
By far the most expensive model in the collection is the one exclusively available in its Mykonos boutique. Hublot charges €20,700 for it or more or less $25,000. No numbers were given for this particular reference. The same goes for the Ibiza-exclusive model. However, it’s unlikely that they will be available on Hublot's website, at least any time soon.
